Support our Service Industry Workers
With most bars, restaurants, hair salons, dog groomers and
massage therapists and other service industry businesses closed,
tip-reliant workers are financially struggling.
Here is one way you can help
The Chambers’ new Virtual Tip Jar is intended to collect “tips” for our local service industry staff – employees at bars, restaurants, cafes, hair and nail salons, and anyone else who relies on tips. Employees post their information, including a payment option including Venmo, Paypal or Cash App. Customers, neighbors, and community members will search for you on the list (bottom left tab) to continue to support staff during this difficult economic crisis due to COVID-19.
Most of us would be already be patronizing these businesses and giving tips to their service providers. Now, even from your “Shelter in Place,” you can help to support these employees. Consider sending a “tip” to your favorite bartender, server, massage therapist, hair stylist, musician, nails technician or barista.
Disclaimer
The Employee List information is self-reported by each employee and is provided “as is.” The Chambers’ Virtual Tip Jar does not monitor or verify accuracy of the information on this list, and makes no representations or warranties regarding this list. Individuals who wish to send a tip are encouraged to independently verify the legitimacy of the recipient.
