Already a resident of East Big Bear Valley? We want to hear from you! The Big Bear Chamber of Commerce supports the East Valley business district areas of Big Bear City, Fawnskin, Sugarloaf, and the lakes district through our East Valley Business Group.

The East Big Bear Valley Business Group meets monthly and is open to Chamber members and non-members. The group advises the Chamber on issues that impact businesses and improvements for the area. See calendar for next meeting.

$24K Grant Funding for East Big Bear Valley This year, the Chamber successfully applied for a San Bernardino County Tourism Grant to promote our member businesses in the East Valley and received $24K towards this effort.

  • Grant money is being used to design and place two welcome signs, one at Division and Big Bear Boulevard and the other at the corner of Big Bear Boulevard and SR 38.  These signs will convey a warm welcome to visiting motorists and encourage them to patronize our businesses and discover the outdoor recreation and tourism highlights in the East Valley.
  • The second project is the production and distribution of a Business and Tourism Guide for the East Valley. In production now, it will be distributed to all businesses in the East Valley, the Big Bear Visitors Center, and the Big Bear Airport.
  • Finally, grant funding was used to re-design the Chamber website, adding this East Valley Business District page and the Tourism Guide, and also to purchase a display kit to promote our business members to the public.

The East Big Bear Valley is home to the private Big Bear Airport, where commuter service will soon begin. The Airport hosts the bi-annual Big Bear Air Show, an ever-popular event that features antique aircraft, kids activities and a great air show.

The Chamber offers its members personalized service and benefits that serve not only our individual members, but speak to our Mission of growing business to sustain and grow our local economy.
