Become a Chamber Ambassador

Our ambassadors raise awareness of Chamber activities and benefits by staying in touch with our members. Ambassadors visit potential members to inform them about Chamber benefits and services.  Most of all, ambassadors promote and urge increased engagement with the Chamber.  ambassador, you will encourage and foster meaningful and beneficial participation in the Chamber’s programs and serve as a liaison between the Chamber staff and membership.

Requirements for an Ambassador

Ambassador candidates must meet the following minimum eligibility criteria:

  • Must be able to demonstrate leadership experience and/or potential.
  • Must be able to make a commitment of time and effort toward program goals.
  • Must exhibit professionalism in all business and Chamber activities.

What Ambassadors Do

Ambassadors visit current members, recruit new members,educate all membership about services and benefits, assist staff with events and special projects, and cheerlead for the Chamber’s mission and efforts to benefit our members and support the community. 

Time Requirement?  None. As a Ambassador, you tell us when and for how long you can work with us on a project.  You set your own schedule and when we ask for assistance, you are free to say “another time.”  After all, we all have busy lives. 

If you can donate an hour or a week of your time, we will be happy to accept it.  Ambassadors are very important to aid and assist us in achieving the Chamber’s mission.

What You Get as an Ambassador

Lots of good stuff!  We provide our ambassadors with a logo shirt, a professional name badge, all the materials you need to help us, and the Ambassador handbook.  Once a year, we host a pizza party for Ambassadors.

Points Program

With each action you take on the Chamber’s behalf, you will receive points toward receiving the Ambassador of the Year award beginning June 2025.
