Event Description: Two Valley Players presents the 2012 Big Bear Summer Theater Festival. The festival will open with “Clarence Darrow,” an in-depth look at the life and time of America’s most famous lawyer, at 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 12.  All shows will be in the lot between The Village Theater and Paoli's Italian Restaurant, corner of Pine Knot and Village Drive, in the Big Bear Village.  The show is both a dramatic and humorous whirlwind tour through Americana that cannot be missed no matter what age.  The organization is a nonprofit theater group dedicated to bringing the finest in live theater to an outdoor stage in the heart of the city of Big Bear Lake Village. The repertory theater group is presenting an original melodrama, “Belle, the first baby of Big Bear,” based on the actual gold mining history of the Big Bear area, and “Clarence Darrow,” an in-depth look at the life and time of America’s most famous lawyer.
