Event Description: Open Lab Hours* Lab Hours Begin Mon. June 4th, 2012 Lab Hours Schedule for June-July: Monday evenings, 6:00PM-8:00PM. Computer Lab Will Be Available For: To pursue employment in a chosen field To create resumes and cover letters To research and apply for colleges To apply for FAFSA and Financial Aid To apply for grants and scholarships To research Job Corps and different programs that include college To research low income housing opportunities To improve on student computer skills using: Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint To use Skype for educational purposes To watch teaching videos on Kahn’s Academy To help people who just want to learn specific trades and find websites that specializes in that field To setup Internet projects that will help teach life and career skills NOTE: Open Lab will be supervised by Lab Supervisor, or trained Staff Member or trained Volunteers. Career Center of Big Bear is located 1 Blk. East of Pine Knot Ave. in the Village of Bear Bear and is 1 blk. South of Big Bear Elementary School, and directly across the street from the Presbyterian Church and shares a parking lot with the PTL Ministeries building.
