Big Bear Scenery & Sunsets
I would like to introduce you to myself and share a little piece of me.
My name is Danny Enger and I am a 35 year resident of beautiful Big Bear Lake.
I am lucky enough to say I was in the last class of the 'old' high school with the class of 1985.
I have always have had a passion for art, music and photography. I can draw, play guitar, make wooden crafts and consider all these fun hobbies. I found my true love in photography.
My love for photography stems from an actual and rather sad and tragic story in my life in which I am comfortable in sharing with all.
On June 9th 1987 I lost my one and only sibling Kimmy Enger in a car accident when her and a group of friends were on their way to BBHS. Kimmy was 17 and I was 19.
So the summer of 1987 I found myself down at the lake thinking, mourning, crying, laughing and just needing 'my time'. This is when I would notice the amazing sunsets that happened each and every night in Big Bear. I started photographing the sunsets and I literally have boxes of 35mm photos.
It wasn't until the internet and social media like FaceBook in which I could share my photos with the world to show them what a truly beautiful place Big Bear Lake is.
The most beautiful place in Southern California.
My photography is 100% dedicated to my sister....I miss you.
